Linda Schipper has been a certified sommelier since 2003 and has worked in the food and beverage industry most of her life.
Schipper got her start with wine while working at Off Broadway, a popular downtown restaurant. “We had an extensive wine cellar and I wanted to grow my knowledge and share this with other’s” says Schipper.
After completing a program affiliated with the Canadian Association of Professional Sommeliers, Linda went on to work as Manager and Sommelier with the Murphy Group of Restaurants and later teaching a wine, beer and spirits program abroad in China.
Schipper established her own wine consulting business earlier this year, Wine Not Consulting, a wine consulting business servicing the Prince Edward Island.
