Winemakers Dinners
One Winery + One Curated Menu = An Unforgettable Evening
The PEI Festival of Wines features a number of Winemakers Dinners held at popular PEI restaurants in the days leading up to the Grand Tasting events. Each Winemakers Dinner offers a unique taste experience featuring a curated 4- or 5-course menu highlighting wine pairings from a select winery. It’s the perfect experience for foodies and wine connoisseurs!
You can look forward to an intimate, dining experience with fellow guests, co-hosted by a representative of the winery and the restaurant’s chef. Each course will showcase the Island’s rich bounty and will be expertly paired with an outstanding wine that dazzles on its own but really take the culinary experience to the next level. Throughout the evening, your winery principal will share insights into the history of the winery and the wines you’re enjoying.

Prestige Tasting
An Intimate Evening Featuring 300+ Festival Wines Plus 75 Wine Exclusive to Prestige
New in 2018, the Prestige Tasting was created with the discerning wine lover in mind. This elevated tasting experience will showcase 300+ wines from the world’s most reputed wine regions, plus 75 additional carefully-selected, limited vintages available only at Prestige. With a very limited number of tickets available, you can look forward to a relaxed, intimate evening of wine tasting and exploration.
You’ll also have the opportunity to interact face-to-face with winemakers, winery staff, sommeliers and accredited product advisors eager to share their in-depth wine knowledge and provide an exceptional tasting experience. To round out this exclusive tasting, Prestige will also feature Terroir Tastings where winery principals will guide you through every aspect of an iconic wine’s life – from vineyard to glass – and pair it with complimentary local foods prepared by talented Island chefs.

Friday Grand Tasting
A Grand Evening of 300+ Wines from Around the World and Local Cuisine
The Friday Grand Tasting is the Festival’s first of two Grand Tasting sessions and the perfect way to kick off your weekend. Explore 300+ wines from the world’s most reputed wine regions, including 2019’s featured wine region, Germany, and indulge in local ingredients served up by some of the Island’s best restaurants and food producers. The less busy of the Festival’s Grand Tastings, you’ll appreciate the Friday evening session if you’re interested in speaking one-on-one with the wine advisors and winemakers, or if you prefer a more relaxed, slower-paced evening.
A Perfect Pairing – If you’re looking for an evening of incredible wine sampling and delightful local cuisine in a less crowded atmosphere, Friday’s Grand Tasting is for you.
